Most of my designs for PAK-IT-LITE.LLC have been born out of the necessity to be able to enjoy the great outdoors while suffering back pain and arthritis. Anything to help ease the pain to go the next mile! As an avid backpacker and sea kayaker, I have logged many miles and spent many nights on the trail in over thirty years of enjoying the outdoors.

I knew after the first ten years of backpacking the mountains of the southeast, sleeping on the ground just would not be an option. So, I took up hammock camping and never looked back.

My first hammock was an old G.I Jungle hammock, which got me off the ground but still left my back hurting. So, I moved on to many other hammocks made by manufactures still around today. But still, no relief. I decided then, it was time to work out the kinks myself and come up with something I could get eight hours of good sleep in while on the trail.

I began making my own personal hammocks over fifteen years ago. It took three years of design work to engineer the current designs I offer on my site. Each detail has been thought out, tried, re-worked and tested again.

All of my hammocks are designed using the Patented formula I found that forms a hammock bed that I can get a full nights sleep in, as well as keeping my gear organized.

I know my designs are bomb proof. I think you will find they are as well!
